Strong start for Mathias
Mathias plays the Knoxville News Sentinel Open this week on the Nationwide Tour. He is off to a strong start after shooting 69 (-3) in the first round. He is currently T19th and only three shots behind the leader Zack Miller."I played good today and especially nice was my putting. I finally stopped missing 4 footers. In the couple events I have played very good but missed every single short putt, really frustrating of course" Mathias said after the round.
Mathias will tee off in the afternoon on Friday and he is looking to shoot a low score to position himself well for the weekend.
