U.S. OPEN

The 110th U.S. Open 2010 at Pebble Beach starts today and it looks to be a fantastic event. Mathias will make his first major start in 6 years and he is very excited to get started.mg and bag(1).jpg

The Pebble Beach Golf Links, Pebble Beach, California is perhaps the most recognizable and beloved course in the US. This year Pebble will host it´s 6th major championship (the others were 1972, 1982, 1992, and 2000). Many of the most famous shots in golf have been struck on Pebble Beach.
In 2000 Tiger Woods won the U.S. Open with an amazing 15 shots margin, it will be almost impossible for anyone to repeat such a fantastic performance.

Mathias made it into the field through a solid performance in the regional qualifier last week. He loves being back at Pebble Beach and his game is improving each week. "I have played well over a few weeks, but have failed to post 4 good straight rounds. Naturally I would love to play well here this week and I will do my best to make it happen" Mathias said after his final practice round on Wednesday.

Mathias will have one of the latest tee times on Thursday.
