St. Jude Classic
This past Monday Mathias qualified for the US open next week at Pebble Beach. This will be his first major start in six years. This week he will tee it up at the St. Jude Classic, which will be the perfect preparation for the major championship."I love being in Memphis and I really look forward to playing this week. I am playing better and better and my confidence is high. Naturally I am even more excited knowing that next week I will play in a major" Mathias said after practice round on Tuesday.
Mathias will have the very first tee time on Thursday and hopefully he can continue to play solid golf. The host course this week is beautiful TPC Southwind in Memphis, Tenn. He will be paired with Kirk Triplett and Paul Stankowski in the first two rounds.
