Off to a good start
Mathias carded a 69 (-3) in his first round at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. Mathias had 6 birdies, one bogey and one double bogey on Thursday."I played pretty good, but it felt like I wasted a few shots out there today" Mathias said after the round.
Mathias will tee off at 1:00 PM on Friday and he will stick to his game plan from Thursday. " I will just keep grinding and hopefully that will result in a really low score. It is a great feeling to be in contention and I look forward to teeing off on Friday" Mathias continued.
