Mathias to play New Orleans
Mathias made it into the PGA TOUR event this week and will tee it up at the Zurich New Orleans Classic.He first thought that he would not make the field, but luckily he did and will hopefully play great golf.
"I am very glad to be playing in New Orleans this week. I have worked very hard on my game over the last weeks and I would love to start playing solid golf. I have actually played ok golf this year, but not over 4 days" Mathias said on Monday evening.
Mathias will tee off on Thursday morning local time.

He turned pro in December 1990 after having completed an impressive amateur career. Mathias enrolled into a Swedish golf academy at age 15 and quickly gained a spot on the Swedish Junior National Team. In 1988 he won the Swedish Boys Championship. He won the prestigious British Youth Championship at Southerness in 1990. During the same year Mathias contributed to the Swedish victory of the Eisenhower Trophy.Read more about Mathias
