Mathias 6th at Disney
Children's Miracle Network Classic. It was not to be on Sunday for Mathias, altough he came close winning his first PGA TOUR title. Mathias finished in 6th position after shooting a 69 (-3) in the final round. He ended up two shots behind the winning score.
Stephen Ames won over Justin Leonard and George McNeil in a play-off. This was Ames second Disney title.
Mathias 2009 turned out ok after a slow start. He captured his first US event on the Nationwide Tour in June, lost in a play-off in August to win a second title, got his PGA card for next year in October and now finishing top-10 at the final event.
Hopefully Mathias can keep on playing great golf in 2010. We wish Mathias good luck in the next season. 2009-11-14
