Mathias shot a two over par round 74 on Thursday and is currently T70th. He played decent golf and had only one big mistake, a double bogey on hole 5.
Mathias drove the ball very good off the tee but struggled a bit with his approach shots. "My irons were not perfect and on this course you really need your iron game to be intact in order to go low", Mathias said on Thursday night.
"I played well on the back nine but was not able to make the neccessary putts today, although I finished with a solid birdie on 18, which gave me a good feeling for tomorrow", Mathias continued.
Sergio Garcia from Spain leads by two shots after firing a 66 (-6).

The Mathias Gronberg Trophy 2008 will take place in August. The event will gather many of the future golfing stars in Sweden. Mahtias is very proud to be part in promoting the game of golf to young people and his hope is that this event will grow each year.
